League History
The Cass County Junior Athletic Association has been serving Cass County Missouri since 1973. The league is a non-for-profit 501(3)(c) organization which is operated 100% by community volunteers. All money received by the league from registration fees, fundraisers, and donations is used soley for the purpose of operating the league. The league depends on the money from these sources to pay for field maintenance, equipment, referees, insurance, and other operating expenses.
Our purpose is to promote and implant the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and reverence into the children of the community through supervised competitive sporting activities.
Our league consists of kids from all of Cass County Missouri and surrounding areas.
We have partnerships with other leagues to participate in cooperative game play. Leagues we currently have cooperative game play with or are working to develop:
- Blue Valley
- Lee's Summit
- Blue Springs
- Harrisonville
- Pleasant Hill
General Information
CCJAA includes participants from all of CASS COUNTY and surrounding areas. We work closely with the local High Schools where your children will continue after CCJAA. We appreciate the High School coaches for providing insight and knowledge to our coaches through the year and during the CCJAA coaching clinics. We appreciate the continued Youth Football support and welcome the assistance for our communitys' children.
CCJAA teams play on the best fields in the area, including several TURF and local High School fields and we use State certified officials. Each coach must be NAYS certified (National Alliance for Youth Sports) and must pass a background check. Other leagues may have similiar certification but that does not mean their coaches go through a proper background check process. Keep your kids safe, make sure you signup with CCJAA. ALL CCJAA coaches must pass a background check. Coaches who do pass the background check, but are not here for the kids, are not permitted to coach in the league.
Help us keep the children of our future involved with the local community activities such as CCJAA. Participation in CCJAA provides skills and knowledge beyond sports that young people will use throughout their lives. Our purpose is to promote and implant the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and reverence into the children of the community through supervised sporting activities.
